The CarChip Pro is an all-in-one engine performance and driving monitor. About the size of a key fob, it's a great way to keep track of your vehicle, and your or others' driving. CarChip Pro stores up to 300 hours of driving data. (The actual number of hours will vary, depending on how frequently you log data. When full, CarChip Pro "rolls over" and begins to overwrite the oldest data with the newest.) It also provides user-settable alarms for speed, hard braking, and quick acceleration. You'll get time and date for each trip, distance, speed, hard accelerations and decelerations, and engine diagnostic trouble codes. CarChip Pro with Alarm records every second of every trip. You can also test for emissions status - find out if the used car will pass the smog test before you buy it! You can also sort business and personal miles, set thresholds for alarms and graphs, and calculate gas mileage.
